Prevailing winds

While my son spends his annual quality time this summer with his mother (see also), I'm noticing that this year...more than in summers past...I'm looking for things to fill my time.

This blog, for example, has obtained an obscene amount of my attention, though not as much as work has...or the Washington Nationals. I'm inhaling Terry Pratchett books at a spooky rate. I'm getting a lot of time in with my stepdaughter, especially at the pool.

NOW would have been the time to learn a foreign language, I suppose.

It makes one wonder just how dependant a personality they have...
