Hurricane Rita and Hurricane Katrina are going to seriously mess with the way this winter shakes out in this country. Heating oil prices will jump like a frog on a hotplate. Everyone's rent will go up next year. Unleaded Regular Gas may "level off" at $3-something after the initial crunch is over.

And President Bush is going to look like even more of a total choade.

Two Hurricanes will bring down the strength of the Republican White House. How weird is that?
