Nats fading fast

Oh, for all intents and purposes, the season is over. But there is a lot to be happy about after this inaugural effort.

We may only have three pitchers worth of rotation, but most nights, they perform pretty well.

Preston "President" Wilson has ignored gripes from fans and performed pretty well.

We have Jose Guillen and Brad Wilkerson. Brandon Watson, too.

And we have a pretty damn good manager, and a fan base in the Beltway that has made this franchise feel truly loved for the first time in a long time.

There's a lot to build on here.
