Family Hockey League Update

The Boy and his Detroit Redwings fell to my Avs over the weekend, 22-10. The perfect season continues unblemished, sitting at 43-0 I believe. All-Star Break coming up net time I play.

His game has improved vastly from the last time we broke out the Playstation. He's started to figure out how to crash the nets better but defensively, he still has a few gaping holes in his back four that I'm looking forward to helping him seal up in the future. He's gotten pretty good. He could never have pulled off ten goals in a full sixty-minute game before. And he was smiling the whole time...even when I went on my run after he had led 8-5.

And now he's off to his mother's for two weeks...
